Exciting day at the children's holiday program 2022!

As every year, the HMC organized its popular taster training session on September 3rd as part of the children's holiday programme. Ten children between the ages of 5 and 10 had the opportunity to try karting and maybe discover a new hobby for themselves.

After a short welcome from our youth leader Joscha Thies and a few important things about the karts and the course, the kids were allowed to do their own laps. The engine of the sports equipment is throttled for this purpose and additionally secured with a special radio switch-off.

After a few short, simple exercises with gas and brakes, the marked circuit was driven through several times. With every meter, the safety, courage and fun of the participants grew.

The day ended with a small award ceremony and a trophy for each child. We hope the day was a highlight of everyone's summer vacation and maybe we'll see one or the other again soon in one of our weekly training sessions.
